2018 Paris Motor Show: Mercedes-AMG and Infiniti new car debut
At this year's Paris Motor Show, Mercedes-AMG released a new car called "One". From this name, Mercedes officially has considerable confidence in the performance of this car, according to the official statement. The purpose of launching Mercedes-AMG One is to "to bring racing technology to life in a street-legal vehicle". The car is equipped with a fairly exaggerated aerodynamic package, and its racing-grade tail is adjustable in two stages.
In addition to its exaggerated shape, the Mercedes-AMG One will also be equipped with a competitive-grade F1 hybrid system consisting of a 1.6-liter V6 turbocharged engine and four electric motors with a combined power of 745 kW. The engine's red line speed reaches 13500 rpm and its life expectancy is about 50,000 kilometers.
At the 2018 Paris Motor Show, not only Mercedes-AMG One, but also Infiniti also took out its own “Road F1”.
At the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Infiniti launched the Project Black S concept car based on the Q60 coupe. After a year and a half, Infiniti made a number of amendments to the Project Black S concept car and made it to the 2018 Paris Motor Show in the name of “Prototype”, which means that the car is not far from mass production. According to the official statement, the Project Black S prototype is just the beginning, and Infiniti will fully electrify the product by 2021.
