Automotive paint process
1. Check the flatness of the sheet metal repair:
First check whether the part to be painted is flat, wipe the painted part without sheet metal, and check for any dents.
2. The part that needs to be replenished by grinding:
The edge of the sheet metal is treated with a grinder, the feathers are rubbed around the sheet metal with sandpaper, and the old paint surface is sanded with sandpaper to expand the range of the soil.
3, clean oil
After the grinding is completed, clean the grinding position and the painting position.
4, medium coating
Try to control the middle coat primer in a small range, and pay attention to the edge position to be gradual, not to be stepped.
5, polishing the middle coat
After the primer is dried and solidified, sand the primer and prepare the soil.
6, fill the soil
The surface of the car with a low recess is filled with putty and dried.
According to different surface shapes, different grinding methods are selected, and the edge of the putty and the original paint of the original car are smoothly transitioned to the original assembly line requirements.
8, spray primer or scrape the eye gray
Apply primer to the soil or scrape the eye ash and level some small holes in the putty and damage to the coating.
9, primer polishing
Polish the primer or the filling ash. After leveling, use sandpaper to enlarge the grinding range, enhance the adhesion of the new lacquer on the old lacquer film, and finish the preparation before painting.
10, blowing water to cover
For all the edge joints in the range to be painted, the water in the joint is blown dry by means of compressed air to shield the unpainted parts.
