Sealing strip classification
The hood seal (HOOD) can be further divided into front, side and rear; DOOR SEAL; front and rear windshield seals (WINDOW SCREEN); side window seals (SIDE WINDOWSEALING); SUNROOF SEALING; PRIMARY DOOR SEAL; GLASSRUN CHANNEL; inside and outside strip (WAISTLINE); trunk seal (TRUNK SEAL); anti-noise Sealing strip (ANTI-NOISE); dust strip (ANTI-DUST), etc.
Classified by section shape
It can be divided into solid core products (round, square, flat cross-sectional shape), hollow products and metal rubber composite products. Among them, the metal rubber composite sealing strip accounts for more than 60%. Cross section design is critical for rubber seals. The first is the shape and size of the sealing lip. The sealing lips on both sides should contact the glass from both sides of the window glass with the same appropriate size and force. The length and thickness of the lip should be appropriate. If the thickness is too thick or too long, the resistance of the glass will be too large. If it is too thin or too short, the glass will not be well guided and sealed, resulting in vibration, noise and leakage. The shape and size of the bottom of the section are designed. There is a convexity on the section of the steel groove of the window. The function is to assemble the guide groove. Therefore, the bottom of the section of the guide groove should be designed with corresponding structure, which is easy to install and can utilize the elasticity of the seal itself. It is attached to the steel guide groove to prevent it from coming out; finally, the shape and size of the outer lap, in order to improve the appearance, the outer surface of the guide groove should be closely fitted with the body.
Classified by seal characteristics
Can be divided into weather seals (WEATHERSTRIP) and general seals (SEALING). Among them, the weather sealing strip has a hollow sponge tube, which has a good temperature and humidity retention function. Common weather seals include door frame seals, trunk seals, engine cover strips, and the like. Commonly used sealing strips include front and rear windshield seals and corner window seals, inner and outer strips, and the like.
Classification by compound structure
It can be divided into pure rubber sealing strips - composed of a single rubber type; two composite sealing strips - consisting of dense rubber and foaming sponge rubber, often containing metal skeleton materials in the axial direction inside the dense rubber; three composite sealing strips - It consists of two kinds of dense glues (one of which is light color) and sponge glue, usually containing a metal skeleton and reinforcing fibers inside the dense glue. Four composite sealing strips - Shanghai Shenya Sealing Co., Ltd. is the first in China to develop and produce a composite sealing strip composed of four kinds of rubber materials, which is coated with a thin layer of protection on the surface of the cotton rubber (bubble tube). Laminating to further increase the life of the seal.
Classified by material type
Can be divided into rubber sealing strips; plastic sealing strips; thermoplastic elastomer sealing strips.
Classified by surface treatment status
The surface of some sealing strips can be further divided into flocking sealing strips; surface coating sealing strips; fabric decorative sealing strips
Special function classification
Some seals have electronic intelligence features such as anti-pinch seals.
