Silicone brake fluid advantages

1. Save long-term maintenance costs. Since the silicone oil does not absorb water, it can prevent the accumulation of moisture or prevent the oxidant from corroding the metal parts. The non-conductivity of the silicone oil will not cause electrolytic corrosion. Therefore, the hydraulic brake system does not require overhaul and replacement of parts. In addition, there is no need to update frequently due to the inherent stability of silicone oil.

2. The brake system is safe to operate, and it can operate safely in the harsh environment of 288°C (550°F) or -40°C (-40°F).

3. Extend the life of the brake system. In addition to preventing the components of the hydraulic brake system from being corroded, silicone oil can also act as a moisturizer, so that metal-rubber and metal plastic parts are not worn.

4. Operational safety. Silicone brake fluid is basically non-toxic and does not require special precautions. Long-term storage does not degrade physical properties due to water absorption.

5. Good compatibility. If ordinary polyol brake fluid is added to silicone oil brake fluid, it will not affect other performance. This allows two types of liquids to interact in an emergency, but it is best to fill the entire brake system with 100% silicone oil.

6. Will not squash and stain the delicate surface of the car. Silicone oil is different from polyol brake fluid. It does not damage the surface of the car. It can be wiped clean easily in case of splashing or leakage during driving.

7. Design flexibility. Silicone brake fluids are highly adaptable to all alloys, rubber and plastic materials; this gives the brake system design great flexibility. For example, due to the superior dielectric properties of silicone oil brake fluids, the design of brake failure alarm systems and level indicators can be simplified by placing a voltmeter through the master cylinder.
