Antiwear agent definition
Anti-wear agent is a high-tech oil (lubricating oil) additive. Anti-wear agents commonly used in lubricating oils include sulfur anti-wear agents, phosphorus anti-wear agents, sulfur-phosphorus anti-wear agents, and halogen anti-wear agents. Agents, organometallic anti-wear agents and boron anti-wear agents can reduce engine wear and increase engine power. Therefore, they are also called engine curing agents or strong repair agents, which can extend the service life of oil, save fuel and improve power.
