Definition of flange
Flange refers to a type of coupling at the opening of the container. When a tight connection is required and rigidity is required, a short and thick flange can be used to replace the welded pipe, such as a sight glass, a hand hole, and an outlet of the stirring shaft. The external connection of the flange is made of bolts or threads, and the short tube with thread is also called "tube", and there are two types of inner tube and outer tube. In order to reinforce the opening and to embed the bolt or the vehicle thread, the flange is required to have a certain axial height and radial dimension. The flange is welded to the housing and has both a plug-in type and a built-in type.
