Frequency definition

Frequency is the number of times that a periodic change is completed in a unit of time, and is a quantity that describes the frequency of periodic movements. It is commonly expressed by the symbol f or ν, and the unit is one-minute second and the symbol is s-1. To commemorate the contribution of the German physicist Hertz, people named the unit of frequency Hertz, referred to as "Hertz", the symbol is Hz. Every object has a frequency independent of its amplitude, which is determined by its nature, and is called natural frequency.
