Le Mans 24 Hours
Le Mans is located about 200km southwest of Paris, France, and is a commercial city with a population of about 200,000. This small city can be famous in the world, mainly because it has been called the most difficult individual event in June since the beginning of 1923 (except 1936, 1940-1948) - "Le Mans 24 Hours" . The three drivers are a car group, driving a car and completing a 24 hour race (24 HEURES DU MANS in French).
The 24 Hours of Le Mans competes with the World Formula One Championship (F1) and the World Rally Championship (WRC) as the world's most famous and toughest three major car races. Since the inaugural competition was held in 1923, except for a few years before and after World War II (1936, not held in 1940-1948), the Le Mans Endurance has never been interrupted.
