Meaning of coincidence
(1) As a measure of the condition of the gear continuous transmission, the coincidence degree should be satisfied. The greater the degree of coincidence, the better the continuity and stability of the gear transmission. In the general machinery manufacturing industry, the allowable degree of coincidence of the gear transmission is required.
(2) The average value of the number of gear teeth that participate in the engagement at the same time, as indicated by the average of 1.6 pairs of gears engaged. According to this, the single tooth meshing section and the double tooth meshing section can be obtained to reflect the gear transmission state.
(3) As an indicator to measure gear load capacity and transmission stability. The greater the degree of coincidence, the better the smoothness of the drive.
