Oil sealed gas storage tank
The cross section of the barrel and the piston is a regular polygon. An I-shaped column is placed on the corner of the polygon. The siding, the top plate and the piston bottom plate are all composed of channel members pressed by 5 to 6 mm thick steel plates, and have a certain bending strength and rigidity. The upper part of the piston is arranged in a radial shape, and the upper and lower ends of the truss are provided with guide wheels. The guide wheel slides along the column as the piston moves up and down. The outside of the tank is provided along the full height every 15 meters or so. The sealing mechanism is an oil groove and a sliding plate around the piston. The oil groove is filled with mineral oil to seal the gas under the piston.
