Overview of magnetic cooling

Magnetic cooling method is also called adiabatic demagnetization, magnetocaloric effect. Adiabatic demagnetization is an effective method to produce low temperatures below 1K, namely the magnetic cooling method. This was proposed by Debye in 1926. During the adiabatic process, the temperature of the paramagnetic solid decreases with decreasing magnetic field.
