Paramagnetic resonance definition
Under the action of a steady magnetic field, the electronic magnetic moment in a paramagnet undergoes Zeeman level splitting, and electron spins transition between adjacent energy levels, radiating (or absorbing) electromagnetic waves of a certain frequency. Therefore, when the paramagnet is under the steady magnetic field and the alternating magnetic field, when the alternating magnetic field and the steady magnetic field meet certain conditions, the paramagnetic body will strongly absorb the energy of the alternating field. This phenomenon is called Paramagnetic resonance.
